Museum Of Modern Art
In 2005 the Former Tbilisi Cadet Corps, a prestigious educational institution, was restored by a contemporary Georgian artist Zurab Tsereteli who saved the building from decay and turned it into a museum of modern arts, preserving the building’s original design while still complying the infrastructure with world-class standards. The three-story museum with an open courtyard is primarily dedicated to Zurab Tsereteli’s artwork from paintings to sculptures to photography and has a separate exhibition hall for XXI century modern Georgian fine art where works of different Georgian and foreign artists are presented throughout the year.

The exhibition hall of 20th century Georgian modern artist Lado Gudiashvili was founded in 2011 and ever since it permanently displays the painter’s work along with the works of different contemporary painters.

Artbeat Project
Description: In 2014 three Georgian women, Natia Bukia, Natia Chkhartishvili, and Salome Vakhania, started a mobile gallery that used shipping containers to transport site-specific exhibitions in peripheral locations without galleries and museums. Three years later they established Artbeat, a pioneering contemporary art gallery in Tbilisi, on Ingorokva street. Located in an old building that has a gothic stairwell entrance with Hellenistic columns and a lovely balconette, the Artbeat Gallery showcases works of starting and mid-career Caucasian artists throughout the year, aiming to introduce them to the international community.

Baia Gallery
Established by famous art critic Baia Tsikoridze in 1992, Baia Gallery (former Orient Gallery) is one of the very first art galleries in Tbilisi which has already held more than 300 exhibitions of Georgian artists. Its main focus is XX-XXI century Georgian paintings and other artwork, but apart from that it is home to many cultural events, presentations, auctions, etc. even offering such services as artwork estimations and consultations to collectors.

Erti Gallery
Erti Gallery (meaning one gallery in Georgian) was founded in 2015 by Tamuna Arshba and Natia Khuntua who have participated in many art fairs around the world with the goal of promoting Georgian artists outside the country. Erti gallery offers and sells Georgian contemporary artist’s pieces with the main goal being the development of the art market within the country.
